The story begin and continues…

Lisa and Mary kept running into
each other at flea markets, estate
sales and auctions. They soon
struck up a conversion only to
realize that they both shared the
same passion… finding the perfect
bargain. Lisa’s keen eye for vintage treasures, combined with Mary’s ability to transform them, led to “My Back Shed”.

A small shed in Lisa’s backyard was quickly filled to the rafters with antiques, collectibles and refurbished treasures. Sales were run every second Sunday, however after the summer, a decision was made to take their “cottage industry” business to the next level. Mary & Lisa opened their first My Back Shed in Oakville in February 2001.

My Back Shed Too opened in Burlington August 2002, only 18 months after their first Oakville store had opened. My Back Shed Too has just expanded into a new 1400 sq. ft. showroom. My Back Shed Too is located at 422 Pearl Street, Village Square in Burlington. They are joined with Le Petit Papier after it was realized that there was a need for an upscale card store in Burlington’s downtown core. Le Petit Papier offers a unique selection of greeting cards, wrapping paper and a printable invitation service. The marriage of My Back Shed Too and Le Petit Papier can now offer everything in one location from furniture, giftware to custom gift wrapping. They are open from Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from 12 a.m. to 4 p.m. Call us at 905-637-1171
